CurrentBlack is building a privacy-first iOS second-number app. Users will subscribe, purchase a dedicated U.S. number, and use that number for calling, texting, and marketplace listings without exposing their personal number.

Account setup is email-first. Account setup, launch access, and product updates are delivered by email or in-app. SMS relay forwarding to a personal number is optional and can be enabled separately for listing-related messages. Account-security and billing SMS alerts also require their own separate opt-in.

Dedicated purchased number Each user subscribes and gets a dedicated CurrentBlack number that can be used instead of a personal number.

Separate optional SMS settings Relay forwarding and operational alerts are both optional, separate from account setup, and can each be enabled or left off independently.

This pre-release signup records the account setup choices early users want applied when CurrentBlack launches. Email and Terms acceptance are required for signup. Relay forwarding and operational SMS alerts are separate optional settings and can each be enabled now or later.

CurrentBlack account creation and number purchase do not require SMS forwarding or SMS operational alerts to your personal number.
